I help organisations simplify operations through Odoo, automation, and open-source technology.
Independent consultant and technical solutions architect working with SMEs, nonprofits, startups and service businesses — combining business understanding, ERP implementation, and infrastructure that actually fits the way you work.
"Own your freedom — choose open-source"
If any of this sounds familiar, we should talk.
Most of the organisations I work with don't have a technology problem in isolation — they have an operations problem that technology is making worse. Here's where I usually come in.
Disconnected tools
Manual, repetitive work
Software that doesn't fit
Hosting & infrastructure anxiety
Implementations that stall
Vendor lock-in
A small, focused practice; not an agency.
You work directly with me from first call to long-term support. No account managers, no handoffs to junior teams.
Odoo Consulting
End-to-end Odoo work — discovery, configuration, custom development, migrations and post-go-live support. Community or Enterprise, on your terms.
Business Process Analysis
Before any software, we map how your business actually runs today — and where the friction is. The goal is fewer systems, not more.
Automation
Workflow automation with n8n and Odoo's own tools. Connect the systems you already use and let them handle the repetitive work.
Website & E-commerce
Websites and webshops built on open-source foundations — Odoo eCommerce, WordPress, or headless setups — that you actually own and can extend.
Infrastructure & Hosting
Linux servers, cloud operations on Hetzner and Oracle Cloud, Nextcloud, monitoring with Wazuh — built for long-term ownership, not vendor lock-in.
An independent consultant
About me
Bury, Greater Manchester · UK-
I'm Adam — an Odoo consultant and technical solutions architect with a background that sits between business operations and infrastructure. I've spent the last decade implementing ERP, automating workflows, and running Linux-based environments for organisations that want to take their tooling seriously without becoming a software company.
My work usually starts with a conversation about how your business actually runs — not a product demo. From there we'll figure out what's worth keeping, what to consolidate, and where Odoo, n8n or a well-placed integration genuinely helps. I write code, configure systems, and own delivery end-to-end.
I'm open-source first by default. It usually means lower running costs, no vendor lock-in, and a long-term architecture you can hand to anyone — including the next consultant after me.
Why Choose Me?
-
Focus on open-source solutions that give you ownership and freedom -
Tailored solutions designed for your specific business needs -
Comprehensive expertise across systems, cloud, and web technologies -
Reliable support and ongoing maintenance for critical systems
Before moving into cloud infrastructure and ERP consulting, I spent several years as a teacher and choir conductor. That experience taught me how to explain complex ideas clearly, build trust, and help people feel confident with new systems — skills that remain central to how I work with clients today. I'm still an active musician and solo singer with several groups across Greater Manchester, including City of Manchester Opera, which keeps those communication and collaborative skills sharp.
